BULLS ON THE BEACH- Fri/Sat/Sun, gates open 6pm, rodeo at 8pm, Flora-Bama Lounge, Perdido Key

Bring the family out to experience the ultimate adrenaline rush with three nights of live rodeo action featuring Professional Bull Riders from all around the country!

Thursday night will feature Junior Riders on Miniature Bulls, a Coloring Contest Bike Giveaway for both a lucky little boy and girl (scroll down for more info), followed by Professional Bull Riding to round out the night. Friday and Saturday night will feature the Professional Bull Riders in the adult Bull Riding Competition.  CLICK HERE

LoDa ArtWalk celebrates National Beauty & Barber Week and National Yoga Month. This event will highlight creatives within our community, including visual artists, musical performers, and local restaurants. Mobile Parks and Recreation is again turning the streets around Bienville Square into a huge, outdoor, roller skating rink! Grab your skates and get ready to ROLL, Mobile! PENSACOLA SAENGER SUMMER MOVIE SERIES: HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS- Sat 7pm, Pensacola Saenger Theatre

(2002) An ancient prophecy seems to be coming true when a mysterious presence begins stalking the corridors of a school of magic and leaving its victims paralyzed.

One hour prior to the movie, Alex Gartner, Executive Director of the Pensacola Children's Chorus will be performing music from the movie on the Great Saenger Pipe Organ.  CLICK HERE

ISLAND MOVIE NIGHTS: THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS- Sat 7:30pm, OWA Island, OWA Theme Park, Foley

Showtime is at 7:30pm, but plan to arrive early for a dog adoption event from 5-7pm! OWA will cover half of the adoption fee for the first 16 adoptions! And don’t forget to bring your own pup to enjoy the fun! CLICK HERE   

GULF COAST CLASSIC DOG SHOW- Wed-Sun, 8am-8pm, The Grounds, West Mobile

The Mobile Kennel Club and the Singing River Kennel Club join forces to bring dog lovers the Gulf Coast Classic Dog Show. Thousands of dogs and their owners will get the chance to strut their stuff in the show ring. CLICK HERE   

BANDS ON THE BLACKWATER: BLUE LEVEE BAND- Fri 7pm-9pm, Jernigan’s Landing, Milton

Bands on the Blackwater is a free outdoor spring and fall concert series held Friday nights in downtown Milton. Pull up your boat or bring a lawn chair and relax while listening to great live music! CLICK HERE   

CITY OF GULF SHORES SUNSET SERIES CONCERTS: EVER MORE NEST- Thurs 6pm-8pm, Gulf Place, Gulf Shores

These free concerts consist of live music overlooking our beautiful white-sand beaches at sunset. We invite you to bring your family, friends, and lawn chair and join us for these family-friendly concerts. CLICK HERE  

9/11 MEMORIAL CEREMONY AND TOWER STAIR CLIMB TRIBUTE- Sun 8:45am, Gulf Place (101 Gulf Shores Pkwy) and Island Tower (521 West Beach Blvd.), Gulf Shores

The event is scheduled to begin at Gulf Place at 8:45 a.m. with special

guest speaker William C. Hayes, retired New York Fire Department Firefighter. Hayes responded to the World Trade Center attacks on September 11, 2001, and participated in the rigorous search and rescue operations.

Immediately following Hayes' presentation, everyone is invited to join local first responders in the tower stair climb tribute at Island Tower in Gulf Shores. Island Tower is 26 stories tall. Those who wish to climb the full 110 stories – the height of the fallen World Trade Center Towers – are encouraged to continue climbing Island Tower after the initial climb is complete. THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG- Fri/Sat 7:30pm, Sun 2pm, Chickasaw Civic Theatre

If it can go wrong during a show, it probably does in this award-winning comedy. The actors, who aren’t really very good, don’t quite know their lines and misplace their props while the jury-rigged set begins to come unglued around them. It’s a farcical romp that will make you laugh till you cry. CLICK HERE

9th Annual BACKPACK PROJECT USA FAMILY FISHING RODEO- Thurs-Sat, Grand Lagoon Yacht Club, Pensacola

Backpack Project USA helps provide food to Escambia County Public Schools students who are at risk for hunger. The Family Fishing Rodeo consists of an Open and Junior Division. The Open Division is for anglers 13 and older, with an entry fee of $20.00. The Junior Division is for anglers 12 and under, with no entry fee. CLICK HERE  

BRETT ROBINSON ALABAMA COASTAL TRIATHLON- Sat 7am, Gulf Shores

The Olympic-distance triathlon will feature a 1,500-meter swim in the Gulf of Mexico, 24.8-mile bike race and a 6-mile run while the beginner-friendly Tri-It-On will include a 300-yard swim, 12.4-mile bike race and a 2-mile run. Participants may opt to complete the event individually or in a relay team for either level race. CLICK HERE
