Museum Day is a one-day event in which participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket. Participants are allowed to download one ticket per email address. The ticket provides free general admission on Saturday, September 17, 2022, for two people.

This is a first-ever “Back in the Building” Elvis themed production. Audiences should be ready to fly with the man from Memphis in the all-new show highlighting the multiple eras of the music career of Elvis Presley. All brought to life by three Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Champion/Finalists. The Throwdown consists of a live art competition between five of Mobile’s finest local artists, an all-inclusive silent auction, live music, cold spirits, and delicious food. This year, artists John Halliday, Devontae Knight, Mayssam Iskander, Christopher Murray, and Elizabeth Brooks will have 90 minutes to create an original piece of art while utilizing items from a mystery box. At the end of the evening, these one-of-a-kind works will be auctioned off, and the artist with the highest bid will take home the title of 2022 Throwdown champion. During the competition, attendees will enjoy music by Ryan Balthrop and catering by Heroes and the Royal Scam. CLICK HERE

The 15th Annual GO Run 5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run is returning to an in-person event on Saturday, September 17, 2022! The event will take place on the campus of the University of South Alabama, in an all-new location! Race Central is located at the SGA Pavilion. The race will start and finish near the stadium.
