GREATER GULF STATE FAIR- Thru Sunday, The Grounds, West Mobile

The Fair is back, with the Midway, the KidzWay, Royal Hanneford Circus, pig races, and more! Entertainment on the Grandstand includes Elle King (Fri Nov 4 at 7) and Sister Hazel (Sun Nov 6 at 5pm).  The rodeo is set for Sat Nov 5 at 6pm and Sun Nov 6 at 2pm. CLICK HERE    

FRANK BROWN INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL- Nov 3- Nov 13, various venues from Gulf Shores, Orange Beach to Perdido Key and Pensacola

The festival features nationally acclaimed songwriters in venues along the Florida / Alabama Gulf Coast. It’s an opportunity for seasoned and aspiring songwriters and musicians from all over the world to have their songs heard, and for the public to learn the stories behind the lyrics that only the song’s author can express. PETER ANDERSON ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL- Sat/Sun 9am-5pm, downtown Ocean Springs, MS

The Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival is the largest arts festival in Mississippi and the Gulf Coast. Artists, crafters and food vendors from all over the country participate. The festival was created to honor master potter, Peter Anderson, original potter of Shearwater Pottery, founded in 1928, and to celebrate the arts community. CLICK HERE     

GREAT GULF COAST ARTS FESTIVAL - Fri/Sat 9am-5pm, Sun 9am-4pm, Seville Square, downtown Pensacola

The annual Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival is one of the best-regarded, most popular arts festivals in the United States. The three-day, juried art show draws more than 200 of the nation’s best painters, potters, sculptors, jewelers, graphic artists, craftsmen and other artists. CLICK HERE   

FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK- Fri 6pm-8pm, downtown Fairhope

Visit local merchants in Downtown Fairhope as they open late and highlight the art community. Also check out the exhibits at the Eastern Shore Art Center (free admission). 

PLEIN AIR FAIRHOPE- Mon-Sat, downtown Fairhope

Join us for a community celebration of painting in the great outdoors! 60 painters will be taking it to the streets – and the bay front pier!! From sunrise to sunset, artists will set up throughout the city with portable easels, chairs, and umbrellas. Work created during the “paint out” will be on exhibit and available for purchase at ESAC. LIGHT UP THE BLOCK- Thurs 5pm-8pm, Fuse Factory, downtown Mobile

Join us at Fuse Factory to toast and help us celebrate ten years of Fuse Project. Come “Light Up the Block” with Knuckle Bones and The Social Experiment to kick off the fundraising campaign, Light the Fuse. This fun celebration is open to the public and free to attend. CLICK HERE   

HONEY BEE FESTIVAL- Sat 8am-4pm, Honey Bee Park, Robertsdale

The Honey Bee Festival is hosted by the Central Baldwin Education Foundation. The 5K race begins at 8 a.m. and festivities will continue throughout the day. Come on out for a fun-filled family day. There will be plenty of arts & crafts, games and food. CLICK HERE   

ALABAMA PECAN FESTIVAL- Fri 5pm-9pm; Sat 10am-9pm; Sun 11am-4pm, W.C. Griggs Elementary School, Tillmans Corner

The Alabama Pecan Festival is a family-friendly event with free admission and free parking. They have the best pecan pies, an assortment of pecans, and incredible local vendors. They also have food trucks, live music, and entertainment for everyone. CLICK HERE   

BOOTS & BBQ BARN BASH - Sun 6:30pm, Moe’s Original BBQ, downtown Mobile

The event will feature live music, a silent auction and BBQ dinner to benefit the Children’s of Alabama Pediatric Rheumatology Clinic in Mobile. Guests are encouraged to wear their best pair of cowboy boots and come out to support a great cause for local children suffering from autoimmune disorders. CLICK HERE

BALDWIN COUNTY BOYS RANCH 24th Annual PIG ROAST & LIVE AUCTION- Sun 3pm, Baldwin Ranch, 21870 County Road 73, Summerdale

BATTLESHIP INVITATIONAL RUGBY TOURNAMENT- Sat/Sun 9am-4pm, USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park

Masters, Seniors, and Collegiate men's and women's teams from all over the U. S. are invited to compete in front of the famous USS Alabama Battleship. The event has become one of the south’s premier rugby tournaments making Battleship Park a major icon for rugby in the south. Make plans to catch all the action!
