THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE’S ANNUAL LIGHTING OF THE TREES- Thurs Nov 17, 5:30pm, downtown Fairhope

Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. and the lights come on at 6 p.m. sharp!

Entertainment includes the Fairhope High School band, the Fairhope High School Choral Ensemble, the Fairhope Middle School band and the Eastern Shore Choral Society. Mrs. Claus will be passing out candy canes and letting children write a wish list to Santa for her to take back to the North Pole. CLICK HERE   

LIGHTING OF THE TREE - Fri Nov 18, 5:30pm-9pm, Mardi Gras Park, downtown Mobile

Join the City of Mobile for a night of cheer as we light up the night and celebrate the start of the holiday season! Santa arrives at 6pm and the lights go on at 6:30pm! This is free family-friendly event that will include a Live DJ, Holiday Princesses, Photo Opportunities, Santa Claus, and so much more! CLICK HERE  

OWA TREE LIGHTING- Sat 5pm-8:30pm, Downtown OWA, Foley

Enjoy a snowy Tree Lighting ceremony with Christmas music playing through the streets of Downtown. This remarkable holiday experience is filled with ceremonious live entertainment followed by an epic lighting of OWA’s giant, 36-foot-tall Christmas tree, snowfall and fireworks display. . Be sure to grab your photo with Santa and enjoy a spectacular Rockettes-style dance performance at the OWA Theater.

SEMMES CHRISTMAS MARKET & TREE LIGHTING- Sat 9am-7pm, Semmes Honor Park

The Market will take place all day Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin around 4:30 p.m. Lighting of the Christmas Tree will take place at dark. Bring out the entire family for fun and to celebrate the start of the holiday season! CLICK HERE   

CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR- Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun 7pm, Cottage Hill Baptist Church, Mobile

With over 20 ensembles and featuring over 200 students from Alabama School of the Arts (ASOTA) with a 50-piece orchestra of combined students and professional mentors, you will experience an inspiring musical extravaganza that will stir your heart as you experience the joy of Christmas. MOBILE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL- Sat 10am-4pm, The Grounds, West Mobile

The festival provides the atmosphere of world travel, giving the opportunities to meet people from over 70 countries face-to-face, speak different languages, sample some delicious food, learn geography, history, art, social studies, music, science, and, above all, be inspired by our beautiful world and its people. CREEKFEST- Sat/Sun 9am-6pm, 4750 Willard Norris Rd. in Milton

Come celebrate the Muscogee Creek people who have been part of this land for generations. This event will feature Pow Wow, dancing, drumming, and award-winning musicians and performers.
