Mobile Parks & Recreation is closing off the streets and turning Bienville Square into a giant roller rink, complete with lights and a live DJ! Bring your skates or bring a chair to watch! Roller skates and roller blades only. CLICK HERE

Music will be provided by New Orleans Reggae greats “Ambush Reggae Band” along with Birmingham favorite “Culture Dread.” Caribbean D.J. “Rich Music” will be spinning great Calypso, Reggae and Soca tunes on Saturday, with DJ “Trini Fresh” selecting on Sunday along with “Culture Dread”. WOODSTOCK WEEKEND- Fri-Sun, Seville Quarter, Downtown Pensacola

3 days of peace & music! All of the fun starts around 5pm on Friday with a Woodstock-inspired Happy Hour and the trip will last all weekend long. Seville Quarter is the place to re-live the legendary 1969 Woodstock Music Festival. We know it is as far away as you can get from the town of Woodstock, NY, but the vibe of Peace-Love, Far-Out & Groovy Feelings will be filling the Historic Pensacola Nightclub. Tie-dye and other 60s fashions are welcome. CLICK HERE 

BLUES ON THE BAY: STILL STANDING ELTON JOHN TRIBUTE- Sun 6pm-8pm, Community Maritime Park, Pensacola

Enjoy a cool breeze off the bay while dancing and listening to some of the region's best musical talent. Concerts are free and open to the public. Pack your coolers, bring your lawn chairs and join us at the Hunter Amphitheater. CLICK HERE

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT AT MOBILE INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY- Sat 5:30pm (Grandstands open); 8pm (Racing begins), Mobile International Speedway, Irvington AL

Kids 11 and under get in free for Back To School Night, and they’re bringing back Kids Ride In Race Cars. All kids will get an opportunity to climb in one of the Crown Stocks or Pure Stocks and make a lap around the Speedway.  CLICK HERE   

LIVING HISTORY CREW DRILL- Sat 8am-3pm, USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, Mobile

Watch history come to life! Interact with historical WWII reenactors aboard the USS ALABAMA and the USS DRUM. These crewmen, dressed in WWII period Navy uniforms, hold demonstrations, conduct weapons briefings, and share stories told to them by our original crewmen. 

The big event of the day happens at 1:00 p.m. when “Call to Battle Stations” is sounded. Grab a spot on the bow of the USS ALABAMA and watch as vintage enemy aircraft fly over and attack the ship. CLICK HERE   

BEYOND VAN GOGH: THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE- Sun-Thurs 10am-8pm; Fri/Sat 10am-9pm (August 5th – September 9th), Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds
