PIRATES OF LOST TREASURE MARDI GRAS FLOTILLA- Sat 10:45am-3:30pm, Perdido Key

Join the Pirates of Lost Treasure for their annual Flotilla. This year’s theme is a tribute to Jimmy Buffett, “Yes, I am a Pirate.”

The fleet departs Holiday Harbor Marina at promptly 10:45 a.m. You can watch the flotilla at Sunset Grille, Oyster Bar and Hub Stacey’s, as well as the Big Lagoon State Park, Galvez Landing, and Innerarity Point Park. Celebration party afterward at the Flora Bama Lounge.  CLICK HERE    

KIDS & KRITTERS MARDI GRAS PARADE - Sat 12 noon- 3:30pm, Casino Beach parking lot, Pensacola Beach

Join this Mardi Gras walking procession for people and pets! Registration opens at noon. Wear a costume, bring beads to throw. Parade entry fee for Pets, $10 each. Kids are free. Prizes for best costumed pet and best mini float made from a wagon or stroller. CLICK HERE    

6th Annual KING CAKE-OFF - Fri 5pm- 7:30pm, Mobile Civic Center Expo Hall, Downtown Mobile

Who has the best King Cake on the Gulf Coast? YOU BE THE JUDGE! Local bakeries, eateries, and grocery stores will compete to see who has the tastiest King Cake and King Cake-Inspired Treat on the Gulf Coast. This family-friendly event will feature live music, local vendors, kids' activities, King Cake tastings, and more! This event benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast.  CLICK HERE   

CORDOVA MALL BALL - Sat 8pm-until, Cordova Mall, Pensacola

Dance the night away to live entertainment with three bands and parade through the mall with a second line band and aerial performers who light up the event with stunning LED optics and fire-flaming performances. Enjoy tastes of Mardi Gras with food samplings from over 20 area restaurants, specialty cocktails, a silent auction and more. 

This year, Pensacola Mardi Gras Foundation and Ascension Sacred Heart Foundation have joined forces to expand Cordova Mall Ball with a portion of the proceeds continuing to benefit Studer Family Children’s Hospital Ascension Sacred Heart.  CLICK HERE    

ORDER OF THE MARDI MUTTS- Sat 10am-1pm, City of Mobile Animal Shelter, 850 Owens St, Mobile

The Friends of Mobile Animal Shelter are teaming up with the City of Mobile Animal Services for Order of the Mardi Mutts, a Mardi Gras themed adoption event. Attendees can enjoy treats, family-friendly activities, more!

GALLERY NIGHT PENSACOLA: LUNAR NEW YEAR - Fri 5pm-9pm, Downtown Pensacola

The Japan-America Society of Northwest Florida (JAS) will usher in the “Year of the Dragon” with its 30th annual Japanese New Year Celebration.
