This two-day homecoming event is filled with family-friendly activities, including dance competitions, authentic regalia displays, the annual crowning of the Poarch Creek Princesses, unique crafts and goods by local artisans, and delicious festival foods. Grand Entry is at 1pm Thursday, and at 12 noon Friday.  CLICK HERE  

TURKEY TROT FOR HOPE- Thurs 8am, Mardi Gras Park,Downtown Mobile

Participants can join the certified 5K run or the 1-mile “Gobble Wobble” fun run on Thanksgiving Day. Proceeds benefit Rapahope, a non-profit organization providing free year-round camp programs for families facing childhood cancer.  CLICK HERE

It’s the Trot for Thought. Proceeds from this run benefit brain cancer research and the Preston Robert Tisch Tumor Center at Duke University. CLICK HERE

Download and color your ears, wear your best elf outfit, salvage an ugly holiday sweater, or decorate your wagon or stroller: Everyone can show off their creativity at the Elf Parade!
