FIESTA CHILDREN’S TREASURE HUNT- Sat 11am-3pm, Museum Plaza, Downtown Pensacola
Families will explore the Pensacola History Museum on a clue-based scavenger hunt. The first 600, kids aged 0-10, will receive a prize bag at registration and be entered to win one of the grand prizes given within each age group, as well as an overall grand prize. Prizes include bicycles, tricycles, art supplies, scooters, games, beach stays and more! In addition to treasure hunting, the whole family can enjoy face painting, balloon artists, lawn games, arts and crafts, music and entertainment. This is one of the largest festivals of the season, drawing plant enthusiasts from across the region. The ride will depart McNally Park at 8:40, ride along the Bay, cross Brookley Field, rest at Arlington Park. Along the way, people can learn about the park plans, conservation efforts, and community coalitions being created- starting with the Peninsula of Mobile's Crepe Myrtle Trail Fest.
