The 28th annual Gulf Coast Ethnic & Heritage Jazz Festival features concerts and a celebration of some of Mobile’s best-known musical figures.
Friday, the Hosea London Jazz Music and Education Award Gala is at 7pm, featuring the Marcus Johnson Summer Jazz Camp Orchestra.
Saturday, Brass Queens, Madoca and Kim Scott will headline the Jazz in the City concert at 7 p.m.
The festival concludes Sunday at 5 p.m. with a Celebration of Mobile Music Legends and Hall of Fame induction honoring Jimmy Buffett, Ira and Ward Swingle, the Excelsior Band, Lil Greenwood and Joe Lewis. CLICK HERE
