Over the years, I've gotten a lot of emails and letters sent home from school ... but never one like this.
And as a baseball mom (from a different school, but I've sat in bleachers all over Mobile and Baldwin counties), this isn't something I've encountered. Or maybe I was just so intent on the game that I didn't notice.
There haven't been any arrests, but the principal makes it clear that police will be called if needed. How awful would it be for a student to have his parents removed from a game? And how incredibly tragic would it be for someone to be hurt, because a parent was drinking and driving?
