The person in our office who knows the least about basketball just won the office pool!
And before you write it off, thinking I picked my bracket based on mascots or uniform colors, I'll tell you what I did. I did some research, using a bracket predictor tool-- (and no, this isn't a commercial for Allstate.. it's just a tool I found the day we filled out brackets... and the Mayhem tweet above was one that Mason found particularly annoying, so I felt the need to include it too!)
And yes, I've tried things like this before and failed miserably. In the past, I used a blind predictor and chose strictly based on stats. THIS TIME, I used stats to make my choices... but name recognitition... and remembering that North Carolina had won before... helped me make my final choices.
In the end, it came down to a co-worker who lives, eats, sleeps, breathes basketball and went with Gonzaga because of specific players... and me, who took a shot at the end of my bracket.
My shot went in.
