"If I Didn't Like You, I Wouldn't Make Fun of You"

Jimmy Kimmel says he was fortunate enough to have the late comedian, Don Rickles, on his show as a guest and in his life as a friend.  In his opening monologue on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Kimmel said Rickles was a big part of his childhood and comedic career. With tears in his eyes, talked about the first time Rickles was on his show... and was there for him through his uncle's passing... and that the only thing he asked Kimmel to do was to keep his name alive.

And he's doing that here----

I've never been one for finding insults funny... but Don Rickles never made it look personal.  It's just the way he was.  And it was good.   Rickles died at age 90.
