Pole Dancing, an Olympic Sport? Could Happen!

To be fair, they just want to call it Pole, not Pole Dancing.   And they say Pole doesn't have to be erotic.

The International Pole Sports Federation is trying to make it an Olympic sport... 

There are 3 criteria that must be met, to make Pole an Olympic sport.  And according to BBC Sport, the IPSF has met 2 of the 3 (as you can see in this quoted text from BBC Sport)--

• It must be signed up to the World Anti-Doping Agency, which pole is
• It must be a full member of the GAISF, which pole is now working towards
• And it must have 50 national federations

Right now, there are about 20 national federations.  So this isn't happening just yet.
