Her Mom Took Her Phone Away, So She Tweeted From The Smart Fridge

There's a 15-year-old girl named Dorothy who goes by the online handle, @ThankUNext327. Her whole Twitter account is basically an ode to Ariana Grande.

But her mom recently took her phone away after she got distracted and started a FIRE in the kitchen. So she had to get creative and search out other ways to get online.

First, she started tweeting from her Nintendo DS, until her mom confiscated that too. Then she realized she could post from her old Nintendo Wii.

A day later, she said she found out where her mom was hiding her DS and took it back, so she could respond to direct messages. But then her mom caught her AGAIN.

So at that point, she had no way to get online . . . until she realized she could send tweets through her parents' SMART REFRIGERATOR. (And LG responded to her fridge tweet with #FreeDorothy.)

She went radio silent for a few days after that. Then she posted one more time after going viral, and thanked people for all the support.

Ok, people... enough with encouraging this girl. She's obviously obsessive... obsessed with Ariana Grande, obsessed with tweeting, obsessed with the attention she gets from fans online.

It may be social media anxiety disorder. Here are a few of the symptoms:

Being with a group of friends and interrupting the conversation to inform them that someone has commented on their latest Facebook page

Excusing yourself in a social situation with family or friends to check what has been happening on Twitter

Checking your Facebook or Twitter account while concentration or insistently being distracted for fear that individuals may be commenting on your Facebook or Twitter account

Randomly adding strangers to your Facebook or Twitter accounts

Spending 8 or more hours a day on a social networking site

Feeling a sense of attachment to your phone or computer, as if nothing else matters more

Built up anxiety when comments are not made and pictures are not posted/tagged correctly

Checking the number of followers on Twitter and constantly finding opportunities to increase these numbers

Twitter loves her resourcefulness, but for parents, it's a nightmare. You take away their phone, their electronics, and now they're tweeting from the fridge???

Remember how all this started? She got distracted and started a FIRE in the kitchen. And her poor mother is trying to unplug her from Twitter, to get her feet back on the ground.

I'm exhausted just reading how many ways this teen found to thwart her mother's plans. God bless her, I hope she's able to get this under control.
