If they're handing out prizes for most unusual social-distancing graduation, this one may win.
Somerset Island Prep seniors put on their cap and gowns this past weekend only to jump on a jet ski to receive their diplomas. The principal stood on a nearby boat with an extension pole in order to safely give students their certification.
Of course, there were only 11 graduates, so that made it easy to coordinate.
And safety first--each participating senior took a jet ski safety course the day before and wore a life jacket under their gown.
