There's a new Burger King commercial that sings about cows and methane, starring that cute little yodeler Mason Ramsey... because they knew we wouldn't pay attention to a news release, but we might sit up and notice this song. Especially if our kids start singing it.
Burger King is using lemongrass-fed beef to make their new low-methane burger. The lemongrass diet helps reduce harmful carbon emissions that lead to climate change and could reduce methane emissions by a third. And apparently that's where whoppers now come from. The low-methane burgers are available for a limited time in Miami, New York, Austin, Portland and Los Angeles.
No, it doesn't make you want to run out and grab a burger. And I'm not sure it's going to make you care about climate change.
But you probably WILL hear the message. Over and over ....and over... again.
