City government leaders hear a lot from their constituents. But I'm betting this one is a first.
A Nebraska man is asking his city council leaders for one thing-- to remove boneless chicken wings from menus across the city.
Andrew Christensen pitched the idea during the public comment section of a Lincoln city-wide council meeting. He passionately said calling the food a boneless chicken wing is a lie, arguing it's really a chicken tender.
Christensen offered alternative names for the wings such as "wet tenders" "saucy nuggs" or "trash."
He says, "We've been living a lie for far too long... and we know it because we feel it in our bones."
