No toilet paper to catch this year! The Southwest Alabama Labor Council announced back in July that they were canceling the parade, out of concern for the safety of their affiliates, members and the public.
So what happens to the TP? A Facebook post shows members dropping it off to the United Way of Southwest Alabama, to share with 18 partner agencies. Pretty cool idea!
The SWALC's 75th Annual Labor Day Parade is set for September 6, 2021.
We'll be ready to catch more TP in 2021!
