Macy's Thanksgiving Parade... Different, But Still Happening!

My daughter called me, very excited that there was still going to be a Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade after all, despite the pandemic.

Yes, it's happening, but the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City is going to look different this year.

It will be a TV-only presentation with no parade route. They're asking people NOT to come see it, but to watch on TV instead.

The balloons will be anchored by specially-designed vehicles in Herald Square (instead of being pulled by a large group of people) and the show will feature pre-taped productions from Broadway musicals, along with musical artists like Dolly Parton and Patti LaBelle.

The number of people taking part has been cut by 75%, but everyone involved in the parade will be socially distanced and will wear masks.

And the question we ask every year.... are there any new balloons? YES! Look for Boss Baby and Red Titan from the YouTube channel "Ryan's World."
