Show-Me Stress.
A new survey finds that Missouri is the most stressed out state in the union, with residents spending more than three hours a day worrying because of stress. The survey, conducted by OnePoll, reveals right behind Missouri are Mississippi and West Virginia. Alabama was in a tie for 7th place... Florida in a tie for 25th.
Nearly three quarters of Americans believe 2020 was the most stressful year they've lived through, thanks in no small part to the coronavirus pandemic. And 2021 has not magically gotten LESS stressful so far.
So what are we stressing about? You can probably guess.
1. Lack of savings.
2. The current state of the country.
3. Politics and everything surrounding the presidential election.
4. Living paycheck to paycheck.
5. And worrying about you or someone you know getting Covid.
