Looks like the Tiger King is staying behind bars.
President Trump didn't pardon Joseph Maldonado-Passage, a.k.a. Joe Exotic, serving 22 years in a murder-for-hire plot against rival and animal rights activist Carole Baskin.
The Netflix star even had a limo waiting outside his lawyer's office in Fort Worth, hoping for a last minute reprieve. But when the White House released the list of pardons overnight, he wasn't on the list.
One cast member on the Netflix documentary "Tiger King" is delighted that former President Trump did not pardon Joe Exotic. Carole Baskin told Buzzfeed News the former tiger keeper is "right where he belongs: in a cage."
