Since Mobile isn't having any Mardi Gras parades, the next best thing is decorating porches and yards... and letting you enjoy touring the parade of homes at your leisure– safely from the sidewalk, your car, or bike!
It's called Mobile Porch Parade. Some people have hired Mardi Gras artists to help them decorate; others are doing their own.
The official Mobile Porch Parade map is now available online. You can also print out a PARADE ROUTE for various areas, like Oakleigh Garden District, Old Dauphin Way Historic District, Midtown Historic District and more!
