Alex Trebek's Suits Help Others Find Jobs

We can only hope that our children are as thoughtful when the moment comes as Alex Trebek's son Matthew.

He suggested donating Alex's wardrobe from Jeopardy to the Doe Fund, a nonprofit that provides housing, vocational training and other services for formerly homeless and incarcerated New Yorkers.

They'll be used in the Doe Fund's re-entry program called Ready, Willing & Able, providing clothing that's suitable for job interviews. Matthew says it's something he knew his dad would be "totally onboard with."

Oh, and Alex's wardrobe was extensive. The donation includes:

58 dress shirts

14 suits

300 neckties

25 polo shirts

14 sweaters

9 sports coats

9 pairs of dress shoes

15 belts

2 parkas
