So what do you do to keep a kindergarten class engaged online? Mr. Talcott took them to the zoo, for a virtual field trip. He showed his class the animals, asked them questions, and kept them interested (probably more than if they were actually at the zoo, to be honest!)
It's one of several online adventures these Seattle students have gone on with their teacher.
He's also taken them on a virtual roller coaster ride. (Ok, that one was a stretch, but on a fun level for kindergarten!)
And he's taught them how to social distance using Ninja Code.
Just wanted to share an example of teacher creativity during COVID. Plus, I learned a few things too at the zoo.
