Robot pizza delivery?
Honestly, my first reaction was no, thank you. But the more I think about it, the better I like it.
Domino's and Nuro are testing it in a neighborhood in Houston.
It's not a walking, talking robot. It's a totally autonomous on-road delivery vehicle.
You get text updates on where the Nuro R2 robot is, so there's no wondering about your pizza and whether the driver got lost.
And when it gets there, you use a PIN to retrieve it from the vehicle. So you know you're getting YOUR pizza and it's not getting mixed up with someone else's. (Well, at least not by the robot.)
Watch this ... it's like Domino's meets the Jetsons.
And I'm ready.
