Mariska Hargitay Responds To Pensacola Girl Who Fought Kidnapper

11 year old Alyssa not only fought off her kidnapper at a Pensacola-area bus stop Tuesday... she slimed him with blue slime, so police would have better evidence when they caught him.

It's somethiing she learned from watching "Law & Order: SVU" with her mom.

That's what she told NBC's Kerry Sanders, who asked what she thought Detective Olivia Benson would say about what she did.

"Probably you're brave and good job," Alyssa replied.

Well, Detective Benson (aka Mariska Hargitay) said that and more:

"Alyssa, first and most important, I am so relieved and grateful to know that you are safe. And I am so honored to be part of your incredible story. You are one BRAVE, Strong and Smart young woman.
