Mobile's Mardi Gras-Style Parade Gets Great Review From New Orleans Blogger

"I left Mobile impressed with everything I saw." Couldn't ask for a better review than that!

Arthur Hardy bills himself as "the world's foremost authority on Mardi Gras" and writes an online blog about the festivities in New Orleans.

He and about 64,000 others were on hand for what some have called "Tardy Gras."

Friday night was his first time to see a Mobile, Alabama parade.

(This is not the time or place for the debate on Mobile vs New Orleans Mardi Gras.)

What's important is that the Mardi Gras-style parade that the Port City WAS impressive, for our guests from the U.S. Navy, here for the commissioning of the USS Mobile, as well as for guests like Arthur Hardy.

Take a look at his very nice review of Friday's parade and at some of the pics from the staff at NBC 15, including Kelly Foster, who was a masked (Mardi Gras, not COVID) rider on one of the floats!
