Word today that the Rolling Stones are hitting the road later this year. The band thanked fans for their patience and announced the tour will begin this fall.
The Stones will first visit St. Louis on September 26th before making stops in cities from coast to coast. The last concert on the schedule is November 20th in Austin, Texas.
Right in the middle of that list? Wednesday October 13th in New Orleans, at Jazz Fest!
It's the first-ever Jazz Fest Wednesday in a year that's already brought big changes to Jazz Fest, with a fall schedule instead of spring.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. local time on July 30th (with a pre-sale for the Stones mailing list from Wednesday July 28th at 12 noon to Thursday July 29th at 10pm for New Orleans, LA and Vegas)
