Don't get me wrong. I love Fall. And part of that is pumpkin spice. Like the candles some of my co-workers are using right now, the pumpkin spice lattes they're bringing to work, and the pumpkin spice coffee creamers in the break room.
And I really love the pumpkin crunch that our co-worker, Jennifer, brings in every Thanksgiving.
But seriously people, haven't we gone a little bit too far with the whole pumpkin spice thing?
I'm referring to Cup Noodles and their pumpkin spice ramen.
And the Bud Light Hard Seltzer.
Dare we mention the toilet paper and face masks?
Enough, please!!
So why can't we get enough pumpkin spice? It's a scientific thing, about triggering nostalgic memories, etc.
I get that; same with fresh baked bread for me.
And I get that it's seasonal, but do we really need quite this much to enjoy the season?
