When Jeff Bezos was 9 years old, he made paper tricorders and communicators, so he and his friends could play Star Trek. Today, that 9 year old's artwork went into space with Captain Kirk!
Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos posted a photo of his childhood artwork that his mother had saved for 48 years. She dug them up and actor William Shatner agreed to take them into space with him.
The 90 year old Shatner became the oldest person to fly to space in the 11 minute flight aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket... boldly going where very few have gone before.
