A Florida pilot took to the skies to spread some Christmas cheer last weekend. Navy Lieutenant Commander Nathan Mitich took off from Lakeland Linder International Airport Sunday night and flew a flight path in the shape of a Christmas tree.
It took about 20 hours of planning using special software to formulate the flight plan.
You can see the results of his 4 and a half hour flight at FlightAware.com by searching his tail number N6387F on his Dec 18 flight. And you can even put it into motion, to see how he did it!
