I think I'm a big spender when I get two scoops of vanilla, but THIS is crazy!
The new Guinness World Record for the most expensive ice cream now belongs to the Japanese company Cellato which created "Byakuya" and is selling it for $6700 a SCOOP!
Of course, you have to figure in the cost of the ingredients-- edible gold leaf, a fancy parmesan cheese, rare white truffles from Italy.
And remember those wooden spoon things you used to eat ice cream with as a kid? This one comes with a silver spoon!
(I can still taste those wooden spoons, can't you?)
