It's Pet Appreciation Week and the people who make Roomba robot vacuums have announced a possible truce in the war between dogs and vacuums.
They've come up with something called T.R.E.A.T. - “Tasty Reward Emission Apparatus Thingy” - which dispenses treats as it moves across the floor. So now your dog will be chasing it for a different reason!
It's just a prototype right now. And it can't vacuum and dispense treats at the same time. But it may be a start in getting your dog to see the vacuum as a friend and not an enemy.
