If you're shopping for fragrances at Sephora, you may notice a change. And it may take a little longer to get what you want.
To combat shoplifting, Sephora is removing all perfumes and fragrances from their shelves. They'll only have testers on display, so if you want to buy something, an employee will have to get it from the back.
Sephora tells CNN that the move was made to minimize the threats of retail theft. It's a big problem for all stores these days. The National Retailers Federation puts the cost of retail theft at almost 80 billion dollars last year.
