iPhone Found After Being Sucked Out Of Alaska Airlines Flight

A Washington man found a phone on the side of the road this weekend. So what's the big deal?

That iPhone had been sucked out of an Alaska Airlines plane when a door plug ripped off.

It fell 16-thousand feet. And yes, it was still in one piece! (I sense an ad campaign for the phone cover coming soon, don't you?)

Sean Bates posted on X, saying that the phone was "still pretty clean, no scratches on it, sitting under a bush" when he found it. He added that the iPhone was still in airplane mode and open to a baggage claim email from the airline.

The National Transportation Safety Board said it was the second phone from the plane to be found.
