Was this Part of Your Childhood, too? Fruit Stripe Gum is Going Away

Fruit Stripe gum is being discontinued. Ferrera, which owns other candy brands like Nerds and Fun Dip, said it was a difficult decision.

I haven't seen Fruit Stripe gum in years. Actually, I haven't been looking for it. It wasn't exactly my favorite.

But didn't we all have to have it when we were kids? The gum with a zebra mascot (YIPES!) . . . bright colors "zebra-striped" onto the gum . . . and wrappers printed with temporary tattoos. Of course, we did!

And there were 5 flavors-  Wet n' Wild Melon . . . Cherry . . . Lemon . . . Orange . . . and Peach. Ok, they tried Chocolate, but ewwwwww. It didn't last long.

It's not like I'll miss it or anything. But feeling just a tad nostalgic hearing that it's going away for good.
