9 year old Kelvin Ellis Jr of Baton Rouge saw a disheveled man standing outside a coffee shop and thought he must be homeless.
Kelvin had a dollar in his pocket. He had earned it the day before for good grades.
So he approached the man and offered him the dollar. But this man was not homeless. He was a millionaire business owner who was a bit unkempt because he'd been awakened by a fire alarm in his condo across the street.
Matt Busbice bought the boy breakfast. They sat and talked. And he later invited Kelvin to his sporting goods store for a 40-second shopping spree, no exceptions.
Kelvin got a bike and some clothes, but he says the real joy came from trying to help someone.
Matt says this experience has restored his faith in humanity and reminded HIM of the importance of giving.
