What high school senior Zack Peterson did on Valentine's Day is very sweet, very surprising, and very expensive. But he's now managed to get the attention of every girl in his school.
As they say in the Mastercard commercials -- Priceless!
Zack is high school student in Wisconsin, and the La Crosse Tribune reports that he bought 625 long-stem roses for Valentine's Day and handed them out to all the girls -- the students, the teachers, the administrative staff. He got lots of hugs, even some tears.
When asked why he did all this, Zack said he just thought the school needed a pick-me-up. He said students were still grieving the death of a fellow student a year earlier, and his gesture seemed like an easy way to give everyone a moment of happiness.
The roses cost him about $450, but this is something he'll remember forever. And so will will every girl in the school. No word on whether or not Zack is single, but if so, he certainly will be noticed now. (The La Crosse Tribune has a couple of photos on their site, or click the Facebook post below to see TV video).
