I haven't seen the new Wonder Woman movie yet, and I know that I should. I was always of fan of the Lynda Carter version, even the Superfriends cartoon version. She was every bit as cool as Batman, Superman, and Aquaman -- okay, cooler than Aquaman (sorry).
Plus, a lot of people really like the message of female empowerment that just comes with this movie. It's always been part of her character, dating back years. Wonder Woman could take on the bad guys as well as anyone, and nobody saw her as the "weaker sex."
For a fictional character, she's a strong role model. And while kindergarteners aren't exactly thinking about how she impacts them, Wonder Woman is clearly affecting the girls and the boys in a kindergarten class... somewhere. Read what this teacher shared with the movie's producers, and what Director Patty Jenkins shared with us.
