Quite a story on Panama City Beach, when a couple of kids got got in a riptide. Family members saw them struggling and went out to save them. Problem is, now even more people were struggling against the riptide. Oh, and one of the family members had a heart attack in the middle of all this!
This is when a really cool thing happened. People on the beach came to their rescue. They organized, and formed a human chain of around 80 people to get everyone to safety. Watch the truly astounding story, or read about it HERE.
And remember what to do if you're ever caught in a rip current: swim parallel to the beach, not toward the beach. And eventually, you should be free of it.
