OWA Opens Friday; Online Ticket Sales Have Started

The new OWA amusement park is set to open, including its new Rollin' Thunder Roller Coaster that goes straight up.... and straight down. Anyone want to go first?

Online ticket sales for OWA have now begun, and while there's probably no reason to hurry and buy tickets, it's probably a good idea to have them in hand before you get to the park and avoid the ticket line. You won't need a ticket for some parts of OWA, but you will need a ticket for the rides -- known as The Park at OWA.

For locals, the best value will almost certainly be the $89.99 annual pass. Compare that to a one-day general admission for $34.99, and you'll realize savings starting with your third visit.

Every time we've driven by, it's almost hard to believe the park will be ready to go. But crews have been busy, and things are shaping up nicely for Opening Day this Friday, July 21st.
