When a professor in Maryland told students they could have a 3x5 cheat sheet, one clever student found a loophole you could drive a tank through. Realizing that the professor never specified which unit of measurement he was referring to when allowing a "3x5 cheat sheet," he decided to bring a 3 foot by 5 foot cheat sheet. So for the math majors, that's 15 square feet of information to help with the test.
The professor allowed it and let the student take the test with this ginormous set of notes.
I'm guessing he aced it, too. And not because he had notes. How do you NOT do well once you've organized all that information? So while most people think the student won that round, I'm pretty sure the professor did... even while conceding a "lesson learned."
