My wife Debby and I used to have three cats -- two were hers, and one was mine. Because they're cats, we were quite nervous about combining our feline families when we moved in together and got married.
Our marriage has been great; theirs... not so much.
The cats never liked each other, and her cats started sleeping on their own bed. And then they got tired of that, and decided that my cat could have her side of the bed, and they'd have theirs. It wasn't peace, but it was at least... a truce.
Our cats were older, and old age finally took all of them. It's been more than a year since Sammy died, and we're about ready for a new cat. And then, a new dog happened. A dog which, by the way, is CRAZY! She likes cats. She likes everyone. Just a bit too much.
So they don't like her, and we're not getting a cat unless the dog starts to calm down a bit. (Two words: obedience school). In the meantime, Friday, March 9th is being celebrated as #FelineFriday. And just because we don't have cats right now, doesn't mean we can put the internet to its best use and see what's been happening in the #FelineFriday world.
Hi, it's me, Tater Tot!— Cat Depot (@CatDepot) March 2, 2018
Yesterday, I helped the humans receive deliveries. I was great at it of course, but... Did you know deliveries come in boxes? Makes it hard to concentrate on anything but the box.
