The heart knows what the heart wants... and so does the stomach. Sometimes, those two desires are one and the same: tacos.
A story this past week in the Twin Cities Pioneer Press (from Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN) talked about a recent crackdown on speeding and other unsafe driving by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Between July 6th-22nd, data shows law enforcement agencies issued 14,661 speeding tickets (plus 1,625 seatbelt citations).
Of course, many of the drivers had excuses for their poor behavior behind the wheel.
The most interesting ticket may have been the one that went to a man who was clocked going 99mph because he was, in his own words, "trying to make it to Taco Bell before it closed."
I'm going to guess that since he got pulled over and issued a ticket, he ended up taco-less that night. Better luck (and planning) next time.
