Stores keep on trying to figure out ways for kids to see Santa this year.
The newest one: Bass Pro Shops are having Santa sit inside of a plexiglass box for photos.
Kids can tell Santa what they want for Christmas, through the plexiglass... then turn and say cheese for Christmas photos in front of the Santa set-up.
The store isn't the only one offering a touchless experience for Santa visits. Brookfield Properties, the second largest mall operator in the country, plans to have Santa at most of its malls, but Santa will either be inside a snowglobe or behind a giant picture frame.
And of course, there's always a virtual visit with Santa, like jinglering.com.
On the plus side, maybe there will be fewer crying-kids-with-Santa photos this year.
