It's that time of year again... time to revive the legend of the Crichton Leprechaun in Mobile.
If you haven't seen the video.... well, I don't know what rock you've been under (or tree you've been in!)
It aired on NBC 15 news back in 2006 and it's been viewed millions of times. There's even merch to go along with the story (see below). And it's been inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame.
Some take it as a joke; others take it seriously. Case in point: former Fox news host Bill O'Reilly talked about the story on his show... asking if it's racist and saying he would not have aired it. (You can hear that discussion below...)
